Hasselblad 501cm

Here are some of my first shots with the Hasselblad 501cm, shot on Portra and Tri-x 400, developed and scanned at Richard Photo Lab.

I'm still getting used to not being able to see the image instantly and checking that I've got the correct exposure, but I'm really pleased with how these came out, thanks to the metering for film guide from Johnny Patience. I've made a few mistakes, missing focus, loading the wrong roll of film, and I'm sure I'll make more, Its just about learning from them.

This is definitely a turning point for me as far as my personal work goes, after seeing these results and going to the ldnwlk (shots from that to come) I'm going to be shooting all my work on film, either on the Hasselblad or Leica m6.
